In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19, this year's Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) that was scheduled for Friday, April 17 will be cancelled. We appreciate your interest and willingness to share your research. However, you can still view the URC 2020 Abstract Book below. We encourage you to continue being engaged in research and seeking opportunities to present your research at the local, regional or national level.
 
 

Overview

The UNC Charlotte Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) is a university-wide showcase of research projects completed by undergraduate students of all levels from all colleges and departments in the university. The URC is sponsored by Academic Affairs, the Atkins Library, Charlotte Research Institute, the Honors College, and the Levine Scholars program.

Awards are presented and Honors College awards are given as well. In addition, students have an optional opportunity to apply for an Atkins Library Undergraduate Research Award. Five Atkins awards of $1000 each are awarded annually.

The Undergraduate Research conference is a university-wide showcase of undergraduate research projects. The conference is sponsored by Academic Affairs, the Atkins Library, the Honors College, and the Levine Scholars program.

Faculty members are asked to encourage their students to enter the completion before the registration deadline. The work presented can range from in-class projects to year-long honors theses and everything in between.
